—— Sufficient Financial Support of the Outstanding Students
Excellent students will find unique potential in Qiuzhen College! We have set up the Qiuzhen Outstanding Doctoral Students Program to provide a financial package comparable to that given to doctoral students at other world-class universities, such as Harvard or Princeton. This program will award scholarships to at least 5 incoming doctoral students annually. Eligible applicants will receive 200,000 RMB (about US$30,000) a year during their first two years of doctoral studies, the total funding period is up to five years based on applicants’ performance.
—— International Collaborations
Qiuzhen College has established exchange programs with multiple world-renowned international institutions, including Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Oxford, and Cambridge. Qiuzhen’s exchange programs provide opportunities for short-term research visits at these institutions. Additionally, each year the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center invites over 300 mathematicians and researchers in related fields for research or academic visits, including lectures and workshops. (Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many of these interactions currently are organized online.)
